I, like many others in our modern age, have lost my religion. Sometimes I think we are near the end times, then I tell myself that people have probably been saying that for hundreds of years.
All I know is that I find comfort and peace through positive inner reflection and what I call prayer, through breathing in the beauty of Mother Nature, and that I am grateful for the multitude of blessings that have been bestowed upon me.
It’s freezing in Texas this morning, the coldest day we’ve had all year. All I can think about is how lucky I am to have a warm home, and worry about whether the homeless have survived the night.

Have a wonderful and warm Sunday.

Hello,
I don`t believe you`ve lost your religion. What`s happening is the realization that we are all “one” and there is no real division between the old term “them” and “us”. The Universe is raising to a higher level of consciousness, and you are a part of it. It`s not really the “end times” but more of the beginning of the new era of enlightenment. Being grateful for all things in our lives is the way I feel too. I live in Oregon, and we haven`t had much of a Winter either. I really did want some snow, but I will look for beauty the Spring will bestow shortly. I write poetry and get so many ideas from life around me, the good, bad and in between. Thanks for sharing your story, and wishing you love and light:)
